Prof. PENG Yi, Chief Physician, was born in the late 1950s into a medical family in Hubei Province. He is a Master's Supervisor at Peking University School of Medicine and Shantou University Medical College, and one of the pioneers of laparoscopic surgery in my country. He served as Director of General Surgery at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital, Vice Chairman of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee of the Shenzhen Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Standing Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery, First Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery, Standing Committee Member of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee of the Guangdong Medical Association, and Committee Member of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee of the Guangdong Medical Industry Association.

He has been engaged in clinical and research work in laparoscopic surgery since 1991; possessing exceptional surgical skills, he has performed over 6,000 laparoscopic surgeries, creating and improving more than 10 minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical techniques. His work has been featured in dozens of domestic newspapers and periodicals, including the People's Daily and Health News. He has received numerous first, second, and third prizes for scientific and technological progress at the provincial, municipal, and group levels.
